Lead Body Solder (30% Tin 70% Lead)

Very low melting temperature

Used in the Automotive, Electrical, Electronic, General Engineering, Radiator and Leadlight Industries, etc.

Early auto manufacturers used traditional lead to cover body joints and seams, as it was the only material available for the task. It was considered the best option and has often stood the test of time. In the 1950s, lead became popular among car customization pioneers.

When restoring a vehicle, lead remains an essential material for achieving an authentic project.

Made here in Australia with all new products, no recycled lead for porosity elimination.

Tinning Paste

This is the finest Tinning Paste available for preparing metal prior to leading, supplied as a 0.5kg container. As with all our Lead Kit products we only supply the very best quality traditional products.

Note: Because the paste is extremely heavy for the volume there is only approx. 20mm of product in this container. This makes it easier to hold onto the container when stirring product.
